In July 2024, UCDP recorded 26 organized-violence events in India, with 61 estimated deaths. The previous month had no recorded events. The death toll range is 57 to 62.
73% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 11.
Events were concentrated in Jammu and Kashmir state (10), Chhattisgarh state (9), Maharashtra state (3).
The most active pairing was Government of India - Kashmir insurgents with 10 events.
