In May 2025, UCDP recorded 41 organized-violence events in Yemen, with 113 estimated deaths. That is -24% compared with 54 events the month before. The death toll range is 51 to 135.
80% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 65.
Events were concentrated in Hudaydah governorate (9), Şa‘dah governorate (5), Laḩij governorate (4).
The most active pairing was Government of Yemen (North Yemen) - Forces of the Presidential Leadership Council with 22 events.
