In July 2024, UCDP recorded 81 organized-violence events in Myanmar, with 230 estimated deaths. The previous month had no recorded events. The death toll range is 230 to 297.
89% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 219.
Events were concentrated in Shan state (24), Mandalay region (18), Sagaing region (10).
The most active pairing was Government of Myanmar (Burma) - NUG with 30 events.
