In May 2025, UCDP recorded 18 organized-violence events in Syria, with 33 estimated deaths. That is about the same as the previous month (18). The death toll range is 29 to 33.
33% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 15.
Events were concentrated in Deir ez Zor governorate (5), Latakia governorate (3), Aleppo governorate (3).
