In July 2025, UCDP recorded 38 organized-violence events in Syria, with 431 estimated deaths. That is +65% compared with 23 events the month before. The death toll range is 414 to 436.
63% of the month's events were one-sided violence against civilians. Civilian deaths: 139.
Events were concentrated in As Suwayda governorate (24), Deir ez Zor governorate (3), Damascus governorate (2).
The most active pairing was Government of Syria - Civilians with 22 events.
