UCDP recorded 356 events of organized violence in Gaza Strip, Israel and Palestine in August 2025. The best estimate of deaths in these events is 1,710. The low estimate is 1,672 and the high estimate is 1,908. UCDP counts 260 of these deaths as deaths of civilians. The count for July 2025 was 467 events.

The count for August 2024 was 268 events. The change from August 2024 to August 2025 is up 33 percent. Among the 26 months with a report for Gaza Strip, Israel and Palestine, August 2025 has the 4th highest count of events. Gaza Strip, Israel and Palestine holds 99 percent of the events that UCDP recorded in Israel and Palestine in August 2025. In August 2024, the share was 88 percent.
