UCDP recorded 358 events of organized violence in Israel and Palestine in August 2025. The best estimate of deaths in these events is 1,712. The low estimate is 1,674 and the high estimate is 1,910. UCDP counts 261 of these deaths as deaths of civilians. The count for July 2025 was 474 events.

The count for August 2024 was 306 events. The change from August 2024 to August 2025 is up 17 percent. Among the 26 months with a report for Israel and Palestine, August 2025 has the 5th highest count of events. Israel and Palestine holds 15 percent of the events that UCDP recorded in all countries with a page in August 2025. In August 2024, the share was 15 percent.
