UCDP recorded 624 events of organized violence in Ukraine in August 2024. The best estimate of deaths in these events is 8,368. The low estimate is 6,006 and the high estimate is 8,535. UCDP counts 219 of these deaths as deaths of civilians.

Among the 26 months with a report for Ukraine, August 2024 has the 8th highest count of events. Ukraine holds 30 percent of the events that UCDP recorded in all countries with a page in August 2024.
