In July 2024, UCDP recorded 48 organized-violence events in Sudan, with 507 estimated deaths. The previous month had no recorded events. The death toll range is 392 to 514.
71% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 215.
Events were concentrated in North Darfur state (17), Sennar state (10), West Kordofan state (8).
The most active pairing was Government of Sudan - RSF with 34 events.
