In December 2024, UCDP recorded 79 organized-violence events in Sudan, with 861 estimated deaths. That is +23% compared with 64 events the month before. The death toll range is 774 to 900.
67% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 488.
Events were concentrated in North Darfur state (45), Khartoum state (8), Gezira state (8).
