In February 2025, UCDP recorded 56 organized-violence events in Sudan, with 994 estimated deaths. That is -37% compared with 89 events the month before. The death toll range is 992 to 1,227.
68% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 507.
Events were concentrated in North Darfur state (21), Khartoum state (8), White Nile state (7).
The most active pairing was Government of Sudan - RSF with 27 events.
