UCDP recorded 89 events of organized violence in Sudan in January 2025. The best estimate of deaths in these events is 1,905. The low estimate is 1,808 and the high estimate is 1,955. UCDP counts 686 of these deaths as deaths of civilians. The count for December 2024 was 79 events.
