In April 2025, UCDP recorded 80 organized-violence events in Sudan, with 3,150 estimated deaths. That is +33% compared with 60 events the month before. The death toll range is 3,125 to 3,355.
64% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 1,190.
Events were concentrated in North Darfur state (50), Khartoum state (8), North Kordofan state (6).
The most active pairing was Government of Sudan - SFA with 51 events.
