UCDP recorded 126 events of organized violence in Sudan in October 2025. The best estimate of deaths in these events is 61,369. The low estimate is 7,704 and the high estimate is 76,392. UCDP counts 60,569 of these deaths as deaths of civilians. The count for September 2025 was 45 events.

The count for October 2024 was 76 events. The change from October 2024 to October 2025 is up 66 percent. Among the 26 months with a report for Sudan, October 2025 has the highest count of events. Sudan holds 6 percent of the events that UCDP recorded in all countries with a page in October 2025. In October 2024, the share was 3 percent.
