In May 2025, UCDP recorded 56 organized-violence events in Colombia, with 76 estimated deaths. That is +22% compared with 46 events the month before. The death toll range is 72 to 85.
61% of the month's events were one-sided violence against civilians. Civilian deaths: 41.
Events were concentrated in Norte de Santander department (13), Cesar department (8), Antioquia department (6).
The most active pairing was EGC - Civilians with 13 events.
