Mali saw 52 recorded events and 162 estimated deaths in January 2025. That is about the same as the previous month (54). The death toll range is 157 to 201.
60% of the month's events were one-sided violence against civilians. Civilian deaths: 87.
Events were concentrated in Tombouctou region (16), Mopti region (12), Segou region (7).
