In August 2025, UCDP recorded 29 organized-violence events in Mali, with 168 estimated deaths. That is -12% compared with 33 events the month before. The death toll range is 168 to 190.
76% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 32.
Events were concentrated in Mopti region (8), Segou region (7), Gao region (4).
