In February 2025, UCDP recorded 44 organized-violence events in Mali, with 208 estimated deaths. That is -15% compared with 52 events the month before. The death toll range is 199 to 253.
55% of the month's events were one-sided violence against civilians. Civilian deaths: 142.
Events were concentrated in Kidal region (12), Tombouctou region (11), Gao region (8).
The most active pairing was Government of Mali, Government of Russia (Soviet Union) - Civilians with 21 events.
