In June 2025, UCDP recorded 52 organized-violence events in Mali, with 434 estimated deaths. That is +44% compared with 36 events the month before. The death toll range is 411 to 538.
73% of the month's events were state-based armed conflict. Civilian deaths: 102.
Events were concentrated in Kidal region (16), Mopti region (12), Tombouctou region (6).
The most active pairing was Government of Mali - JNIM with 29 events.
